About:
Code21 was a map creating team that made different maps for Counter-Strike 1.6. All map names started with the prefix c21. The first map was released in 2009 and the last one in 2011. Most of our maps where made for a Hide and Seek mod that exists in Counter Strike 1.6. Visit our old homepage and check out our maps here.

How did it start?
Me and my friends played a lot of mods for Counter Strike 1.6. One of them where a Hide and Seek mod. Where one team is hunting the other team by only using knifes. Both teams are running around trying to do different tricks to overcome their opponents. If the chasing team wins, each teams switch sides and those who did hunt will be those who are hunted.

Some players where really good at jumping long distances. Which allowed them to perform better then other players. You accomplished this by jumping and timing the A and D key the same time your strafing the same direction. I observed this and wanted to make maps where this skill was more in the spot light. But still had obstacles players could use for different tricks avoiding or catching opponents.
